Listers, Thanks to all for your responses on my trouble with Yosemite clean install. In the end, I had to ask sighted assistance since Voiceover would sometimes speak during the installation and then it would disappear again. The machine I was doing the clean install is late 2010 macbook air but I can't see why it would matter. It is truly bizarre when so many of you have achieved clean install with voiceover, and here I was having to work with a pair of eyes to do so. Once installed, I have voiceover as normal but I am just curious and somewhat disappointed and worried in case I should have to do the clean install again.
Thanks a lot for all your suggestions. Andrew > On 29 Jun 2015, at 19:37, Grant <grant.li...@icloud.com> wrote: > > What about trying to turn up your system volume?
