The work around I use is to open the window menu using VO-m followed by typing w i n, navigate through a couple of the options using the arrow keys, and then press escape. No idea why this affects it but it seems to work. Maybe it’s removing the selection from the webpage and thus making the menu disappear. I’ve no idea.
