Hi, You can scroll to the last message by hitting VO-Shift-End. You can probably skip holding down shift as well, I suppose, though that's usually what I do but I'd imagine that'd work the same in this case.
Also, there is a setting that is called "Show". Simply uncheck the box and you're good to go. It won't show any recent messages.
