Here’s the blog post I mentioned
https://adium.im/blog/2015/04/adium-1-5-11-beta-2/
<https://adium.im/blog/2015/04/adium-1-5-11-beta-2/>
And the relevant part of the text, "Facebook Chat will also stop working
<https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/changelog> on April 30. We have no
plans to continue support.”
I guess the reason your adium is still working is that you still have a valid
authorisation token. Facebook requires apps to authorise again every month or
so, which is probably a security feature. Enjoy your adium while it lasts. :D
