Chris, To get to the iCloud Drive, press cmd-shift-i when in the Finder, or from any Open or Save dialog. There’s some dedicated folders in there that you shouldn’t remove related to the Apple suite of apps. You can add to or remove from these folders, just don’t remove them from this location except through the iCloud System Pref.
