Just know, I, God forbid, don't anticipate this being in the foreseeable future, I hope. But! that said, I definitely will keep it in the back of my mind, and when, and should, the issue arise, I'll be more than happy to do it for ya.

Daniel, I already have my mac working really well, so obviously, even though I have a backup image and easily could restore things, I really would rather honestly not format fresh for now, LOL! However, that said, if I ever, God forbid, have to reinstall things, I'd be more than happy to make a podcast of me doing it. I've done it multiple times before due to reasons out of my control, and I can tell you absolutely beyond a doubt that it definitely is incredibly doable.

Hi all, I know this isn't exactly a fun topic to discuss but in all my years of using the Mac, with Voiceover, I've never ever come across a podcast demonstrating how someone can independently reinstall OS X from scratch by themselves.

The reason for me saying this is because when the next new release of OS X comes out. I am seriously considering of performing a clean install of that new operating system. Not kidding here but I've done straight updates of this late 2011 Mac Book Pro and don't get me wrong its worked pretty well up to now.

I'm just thinking that a fresh start for this machine may do it wonders.

Has there ever been any podcasts demonstrating how one can actually do this? Obviously for this list, I'm talking from a Voiceover perspective.

Curiously awaiting your answers!

Thanks

Daniel
