Honestly, I haven't found a difference between Calendar in Mavericks and 
Calendar in Yosemite. The gird is the same, the quick event to full event 
window is the same, the keystrokes (that I use anyway) are the sameā€¦ Can you 
explain where you're having trouble? It is very possible that we simply use 
this app in different ways, and I have thus not encountered the problems you 
have.
