So David, just so I am understanding you correctly, are you saying to turn off spam filter by logging on to my internet service provider's site and making the changes there?
I just went into Mail preferences and check my junk mail setting. Junk mail filter on is checked. I am thinking of unchecking it and see if that helps any.
