You select the playlist then go to file->library->export playlist.  Also, try 
searching in iTunes for it.  Just press command-f and type a search term.  That 
might be the fastest.  We are just trying to figure out if it is really there 
and you can’t find it, or if it isn’t getting added for some reason.
You say that you got it from the app store.  Check the apps section of your 
library and see if it’s putting it there..

Is this the original library in the music folder on your boot drive, or did you 
create it?  If the latter, how did you create it?
