A pleasure re the Podcasts - we I am no expert but hope that sharing what I have learnt is helpful.
I had completely forgotten about system report so thanks for reminding me. I have just gone to system report and of course everything under Audio now is absolutely fine but your suggestion of sending a screen dump the next time it happens is a good one. Actually taking a snapshot whilst everything is in good health may be a good idea for comparison sake if it happens again.
