Hi,

As long as the match action has completed, this process is relatively painless.
One important thing to note though, is that only songs that are actually
matched will be upgraded to the higher quality version, those that were not
able to be matched will simply remain in the quality they were uploaded in.

1. Go into iTunes Prefs and select the Store pane.
2. Make sure the "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases" checkbox is checked,
then close system Prefs.
3. Select the Songs button so that your entire Music library is available.
4. If you sort your music by kind, this is much easier. If the "Kind" column
is not showing, press cmd-j and check the box to have it shown.
5. Select all the songs, non-Purchased, that you want upgraded then hit the
Delete key.
6. Make sure the checkbox that asks if you want them to also be removed from
iCloud is not checked. You're only wanting to delete the local copy and the
reference to the iCloud copy must remain, so, make sure you do NOT remove the
iCloud versions.
7. If it asks, move them to the Trash. If your computer doesn't have a lot of
room, go to the Finder and empty your Trash, otherwise, you can wait and do
that later.
8. Now, in your Music Library table, there should be a "Download" button
beside the Song title. You could press this individually or simply select all
the songs that have the "Download" button, bring up the Contextual menu with
VO-shift-m and choose Download.

Depending on your Internet speed and the number of songs to download, this
could take a while. After it's done, you're music should be upgraded. This
process also does not actually remove songs from Playlists since the songs were
not removed from your iCloud library.

HTH.
