Hi,

I installed the latest iTunes and a number of things seem to have
gone weird. First, iTunes didn't automatically detect my library
which is odd as it isn't in an obscure location and it should have
been able to find it from the settings of the previous version. The
iTunes upgrade also lost the location of my "Restore" file for my
iPhone and I've no idea where that went.

So, to get things back to normal, I wanted to restore to early
Thursday morning from my Time Capsule.

I launched Time Machine from the Dock. My sighted wife and I could
just not figure out how to get a restore going. Once in a while, we
would get the "restore" button to stop being grey but when we clicked
it, it didn't seem to do much of anything. I last restored my MacBook
something like a year ago and my wife had to drive using the mouse.
For no reason apparent to either of us we can't seem to figure out how
to get the iMac restored.

I wanted to restore the whole thing just to make sure that I am in the
exact state I had been before installing the iTunes upgrade.

So, can someone help with restoring?

Also, why didn't the iTunes install find the previous libraries and
settings?

Happy Weekend,
cdh
