Hi there. Words cannot express how thankful I am for this list and the many great podcasts out there which helped me make the transition to the Mac. I do have a few questions that I cannot find the answers to in the documentation.
First, is it necessary to periodically restart my Imac? I know in Windows, if I didn't periodically do a restart, things would get sort of gummed up and eventually the PC would get really slow, so I just got in the habit of doing a restart every day. Secondly, since the USB ports are in the back of the computer in a somewhat difficult spot, can I just keep the USB cable for my iPod Touch connected all the time? Thirdly, I'm struggling a bit with the web and was hoping you guys could pass along some suggestions. I actually crashed Safari yesterday and had to do a force quit. I seem to be able to find links on the web pages, but cannot seem to be able to arrow up and down to find text, even when I lock the VO keys. I have tried DOM mode. Maybe I should use groups mode? Which do you all prefer and why?
