Hi, The combo-pack may happen but I'd guess that you're not going to see a combo modem/airport device any time in the near future. ISP's often have proprietary devices that they have entered into agreements with specific venders but, they often end up behind the times technology-wise. That is, all the new Airport Extreme and Time Capsule devices are Wireless AC devices whereas I'd venture to say that those packaged with ISP's are behind a level or two. This likely won't make much difference to your Internet speed but makes a huge difference to your internal network speed.
