I think it's actually the @ symbol, not the # symbol.
Try that first.

OK so I've been told that if you put the # symbol before a name in an FB
post, that will tag the person. For some reason it only adds a "link" to the
first word. 

Also, when I use the Tag people in your posts feature, it doesn't tag them
but says I'm with them. 

What am I doing wrong? :) 

Using Safari and Mavericks on the FB Mobile site. Otherwise I love the
interaction,
