Question.  Are you sharing a Drop Box folder with this someone?  IF not, you 
need to go to your home folder and from there, select the Drop Box folder.  Put 
the file right in there.  Now, if you open the short cut menu, create Drop box 
link should be one of the items you find in there.  Make sure, of course, that 
you are indeed running the latest Drop box.
