For that function, namely, moving files from one folder to another, I'd just
try cutting and pasting.

For my problem, it was properly ordering files in a play list. I have found a
solution.

1. Add the files to ITunes and manually name and tag them correctly so that
all the files you wish for a custom album are all together.

2. Now, make an empty play list with nothing in it but give that play list a
name.

Now, focus on the list of files you just added to iTunes.
3. Next, find the first file you wish to put in the new empty play list.

4. Add that file to the new play list using the short cut menu add to play
list option and choose the list.

5. Do this file by file until you have them all added. Doing this will force
the files to be in the correct order. In other words, with this method, you
are building a play list just exactly the same way as you do on the iPhone.

6. Now, launch the file track numbering script and make sure that the track
number option is checked and that you also check the set track number to what
ever number of files are in that new list. Let it do its thing.
