Hey Jon, Has nothing to do with the large email file I am going through as that is just a file on this computer and I don't even have gmail on this computer anymore. It is definitely mac mail and a bug as for the last ten minutes I was trying to collapse a conversation with 4 messages in it, and kept dinging and dinging and wouldn't collapse so I toggled off vo and back on and then finally left arrow collapsed the conversation. I still have yet to get VO back slash to actually open or collapse a conversation so am pretty sure it is a bug that is not affecting everyone. Really frustrating.
