Oooops, I forgot to add. Someone here told you how to get rid of columns in your e-mail table that you may not want. However, sometimes I still do not want voiceover to announce every cell in a row. So, what I do is interact with the table. Once the voice over cursor is focused on the table I press vo plus shift plus down arrow. Then I use vo plus right, left, up, and down area depending on the cell I want to hear. Usually I just arrow down through the subject column instead of listening to the whole row. Once I hear a subject I am interested in I either open that e-mail or I may vo arrow to the right or left to hear who the e-mail is from or check the date. Everyone has a different way they prefer to do their e-mail and such but that is what I do when I'm in a hurry and I do not feel like hearing every cell in a row. It saves me time.
