Hi Donna,

Command E only works on the desktop when the DMG file is mounted - remember 
I said it was like an external HD? When it is in the Downloads folder, if it 
is not on the Desktop, it is just as if it were a zip file and should be 
easily deletable. However, if it is on the Desktop as well you need to eject 
it from the Desktop first.
