Ben, that just doesn't make sense.  Your not going to find a PC with  
the same features or design of a Mac Pro.  If you truly had a need for  
a Mac Pro, you'd purchase one, but such a machine is not generally  
necessary unless you again have a real need such as maybe for video/ 
sound editing and I"m talking more in a professional studio setting or  
perhaps a server.  I don't see any benefit in spending that kind of  
money for a machine with two duo core processors to read e-mail, surf   
the web, maybe run a couple VMs etc.  You could easily use an iMac or  
MBP for this.  Of course my opinion, but then running the Mac os on  
some other hardware just doesn't make sense and that is my entire  
point.  You need that much horsepower, you'll spend the money because  
the need would be compelling.  Of course what I spent on my 15-inch  
MBP, I could have gotten a introductory Mac Pro. :)
