Anouk,
You will have a year to do this and this means don't wait until the
very last second. :) I did and actually Apple did call me to
encourage me to spend some money on purchasing the Apple Care for my
wife's IMac. I'm going to get it for my MBP soon, but yeah, I spend a
lot and so the warranty will have to wait a minute. :)
Btw, I don't generally refer to female friends as buddies, but hell I
guess you could be a buddy too. :) I mean my co-worker is my bud, but
I typically choose a different word. :)
