Well, I'm using column mode browsing, and it works slowly but it does  
work.
You basicly up and down arrow through the folders and left and right  
arrow to expand and collapse.

If you are getting an error, that would help us.  Otherwise, try  
switching to column mode and see if that at least lets you brows your  
own computer.
