Darcy, thanks a million! I can't believe that I didn't have the foresight to
try something like that. It worked beautifully and for that I am grateful
to you.

I believe that in many situations, we automatically assume that something
can't be done when, in all actuality, there is a simple solution. Thanks so
much once again!

Mike

Subject: Re: Setting up three or four-way conversations with the Mac and
Skype

Hi Michael. When recording podcasts, most of us do infact use skype. It's
actually really easy to set up a conference. When you're talking to
someone, switch back to the main skype window. Find the third person of
your conference in your contacts list, do a VO shift M on their name to
bring up a context menu, and select add to conference.

Repeat this to add additional people.

I don't know if there's a limit to how many people you can have, or if it's
a matter of bandwidth. The largest conference I've been in had 6
participants.

Hello listers,

In a few days, I will need to start planning an important blindness-related
conference that will take place here in Vienna, Austria next year. We have
decided to use Skype as our communications platform as we plan the event. I
know that people like Josh, Cara and the screenless switchers use some sort
of voice chat client when they do their roundtable discussions, so I know
that what I wish to do can be accomplished in some way.

My preference would be to use Skype but if it doesn't work or the Skype
conferencing features can't be accessed through Voice Over, then I am open
to any alternatives. Ideally, however, setting this up on Skype would be
best since all of us already have this program.

My sincerest appreciation in advance for any and all input on this subject,

Mike
