Thanks for the description and operation of these. I wish they could record in stereo, that would be quite a handy feature. :) The one thing I would be curious about is how well they stay in the ear. I have two sets of ear buds here and one is made by Sony and they were about $20, but what makes them nice is they don't sound to bad, but they have like a loop your ear fits through, which holds the buds in place better. The other set I have normally sells for $150 and is made by Schur, but I got them for $50 and was using them as in-ear monitors when I was playing in a band. They actually fit slightly into the ear canal and the way they are designed, they are held in by the ear leather if you will-the ear itself. Do these fit well and not quite likely to fall out? The one thing I like about the Sony pair is you can even eat and all the jaw flexing won't unset them and the Schur seem to be that way, but I've only drank stuff with them in.
