@PeggySue: Your symptoms may be similar, but your hardware is different than the Bastanteroma's hardware. There are currently different issues for intel and nvidia graphics that on the surface appear to be the same because they both involve resuming without the backlight of the video screen turning on. I think you have a third issue with your ATI Radeon card because the nvidia and intel issues are specific to those drivers. Please open a new bug report for your issues.
