One other thing to keep in mind that you can fine files online named “file.ba” which are actually plain text files not tokenized BASIC files. If you try to load the text file “file.ba” using TS-DOS it will become a scrambled mess or lock up the M100. I covered how to tell the difference between a ‘real’ BASIC tokenized file and a text file using the Backpack itself in this video at about the 5 min mark: https://youtu.be/UcImWGS70Qo

One of the steps is to get from wav to ba. The video has chapters so that you can easily jump to the section of interest. https://youtu.be/doYXIyOhfJs Tools used are referenced in the video description. Maybe this can be of help :) mvh, Rune Devik On Tue, 5 May 2026, 05:29 Robert, <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > wrote: Finally got my Model 100 up and running 100%. Time to have some fun! When I picked up my unit, the person who sold it to me included a bunch of program cassettes. Unfortunately, some of them don't load. Maybe the tapes have had it? I can load others, so I know my equipment is functioning properly. I found the .wav files for the tapes I can't load. Since I will have a backpack drive in another day or so (according to tracking), is there a way to convert them to .ba files and then copy those files to the SD card?
