Then why didn't the same error show up on the first machine with also LyX2.1rc but TexLive 2010?I'm actually leaning against fixing this duplicate entry problem from the source file: in scientific collaboration it is often that co-authors have duplicate entries from their own bib files. Merging them was so much easier prior to Lyx 2.1
