Hi again, I got forth a bit in the meanwhile. The caption package obviously is not intended for specifying caption placement. For latex I found several notes, saying the caption placement is controlled by the placement of the \caption command.
What I still wasn't able to find out is: How can I configure where/how lyx places the \caption command? Help is very appriciated. Thank you in advance, Clemens
