Lyx will produce a LaTeX2e file IF you export the file as such:

File>>Export>>Latex(plain)

It will produce a will with extension .tex in the same directory as
the original Lyx file.
Notice that the .lyx file that you open in Lyx is not latex and will
most likely not be accepted by Springer.
