WARNING: Latex not usable (not LaTeX2e) So for some reason LyX is not able to run LaTeX as this user. Or, possibly, it is unable to save the temporary file chklatex.ltx to (I think) the user's local LyX directory. We find out if LaTeX is usable by trying to run a very simple script. Is there some permissions issue here, possibly? Richard
