Again, this is because LyX is ignorant of graphics referenced in
included TeX files. You might try converting the TeX files to LyX and
including the resulting LyX files. Then all will work as it should.

I tried this also using tex2lyx, but always received the error message on
opening the lyx file that "the file test.lyx is from a previous version of
lyx, but lyx2lyx failed to convert it".
