In Koma-script Book with double-spaced text, if I place a float in a new standard paragraph environment, as suggested by the User's Guide, I get extra spaces between the paragraphs on either side of the float. I placed the floats at the end of the previous paragraph and did not get LaTeX errors (as suggested might happen in the Guide), so that fixed my problem. However, this seems like a bug of some sort?
