Here's the error in the log file: ! Package textcomp Error: Symbol \textservicemark not provided by (textcomp) font family ppl in TS1 encoding. (textcomp) Default family used instead. See the textcomp package documentation for explanation. It's a LaTeX error, not a TeX error. It looks contradictory to me. If the symbol is not in the 'font family ppl in TS1 encoding', but the default family is used instead, why is it an error? Rich -- Richard B.
