More newbie questions... I'm trying LyX under Windows (my current install) and Linux (I'm about to migrate). Under Windows, so far, so good.
Under Linux, I have two issues, apparently related: When I open a document with EPS figures, I don see them in the LyX window. Instead I get a box with the figure name and "error converting to a readable format". Also, when I try to preview in PDF, I get the same kind of message: "LyX: cannot convert file. No info to convert file from eps to pdf. Define an converter in preferences." ... I'd love to do that, but how do I use the "converter" tab in the preferences? In particular, the "add" button is grayed, and don't know how to fill the command line. TIA for your help, Daniel CLEMENT
