However, a prominent warning in the User Guide (6.9.1 ERT Boxes) might help a bit. Something like: Attention: as the text after the ERT box continues on the same line (to enable the abovementioned constructs), a comment sign (%) in the ERT boc will render not only the remainder of the box but also the rest of the non-red line invisible. Insert a line-break inside the box to prevent this. The collapsed box will still be diplayed in-line. Günter
