Look at the user guide - there is an example of
bullet list, enumerate list and other lists nested inside
each other in a 6-level monster example. Try reading the
entire guide some time, just looking for cool stuff. :-)
You can also nest standard paragraphs inside lists, which is
what you have to do in order to make a multi-paragraph bullet item.
Lots of other things nest too. You can have bullet list inside
lyx-code, or a section heading inside a list. The latter looks silly though.
To nest one paragraph type inside another, first start a new
paragraph and increase depth. Then change to the desired
paragraph types.
The inner paragraph can be almost anything. The outer
paragraph is more limited, not all can have an interior
paragraph as it doesn't make much sense. A couple of
bullets and some std. paragraphs in a long-winded
enum item is ok though.
