Can I ask another question? Is there a "select and carry" function? In many word processors, you can select a sentance, and then click somewhere in the middle of the sentence and drag it to somewhere else in the paper. The better ones will correct spacing and capitalization for you, but it doesn't seem like this works in LyX.
