Please could you elaborate more on that? I mean, I have tried to produce, using lyx-1.5.2, a minimal example showing the problem and I haven't succeeded. I put a note inlined within the text (using lyx-1.5.2), this is what lyx-1.5.2 (latex) complains, and everything is fine. However the old beamer lyx files with that produces latex errors.
