Thanks for all of these comments. Actually, I was able to resolve the issue by the inelegant means of changing 2 or 3 Greek words in the text back to transliterations. This is a temporary measure, but it makes the document work again. What wasn't clear to me from the message was that it related to a Greek character set .... I'll come back to the question of getting Greek in (I'm sure its very simple) at a later point. Thanks again,
