I re-tested this on 1.5.1 (PPC 10.4.10, Universal binary)-- The first problem (formatting being removed) is indeed fixed.
The second problem (inability to copy/paste multiple cells) is still there. Everything is pasted into one cell instead of preserving the original organization.
