In this case, this is a very specialized need. So adding it to the menus is a bit too much; with emacs bindings, you can do C-x C-q to toggle through keyboard. And of course you can add it to your own menus. Emacs also have a "open read only" command. We could do something like that and bind it to C-S-o, but not put it in menu. JMarc
