Hi,
I seem to be having a bit of trouble with the Math toolbar in the
new 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 versions (Mac OS X 10.4.10 PPC).
I can only utilise the basic toolbar (with delimiters, etc.), which
I turn from the View > Toolbar > Math menu. I don't have anything
like the new one as shown here: http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/
NewInLyX15#toc12
I read in a previous post that deleting ~/Library/Application
Support/LyX-1.5/session, and restarting LyX might help. This didn't
work, nor did deleting the preferences (which was also recommended).
Clicking on the "Toggle Math Panels" (the math panel should have
gone??) icon on the toolbar gave me the following error: "Unknown
toolbar "math_panels" (toolbar-toggle math_panels)."
You need to select the toolbars you want in View > Toolbars. (The one
you're talking about is the Math Panels toolbar.)
Note that in selecting them from that list, there are 3 possibilities
that cycle everytime you select them: always on, always off, and
auto. The auto setting will automatically display the toolbar when
you're in the appropriate [math or table] environment or when change
tracking is on.
The sessions feature will save the state of your toolbars, so that
relaunching LyX will put them in the same state they were previously.
