Oops, I just realized that I sent the LyX list the generic description. I 
didn't mean to insult anyone's intelligence by telling what TeX, LaTeX and 
LyX are, nor by the sentence "If you need to write documents, and want those 
documents to be typeset uniformly and well, you should attend this 
presentation." This happened because I sent the boilerplate announcement to 
the LyX list.
