Thought so. Unfortunatley I can't use fractura (gothic font) in an official 
document.

Isn't it possible to use a special character at will? I have to transcribe a 
middlehighgerman text, where the writer uses the 'long s' very often and free 
from any rules (he uses the 'long s' at the start).

Can you give me a tipp, where I can find a how-to for installing fonts into 
latex? I found some per google, but these are, well, confusing....

If it were just one or two, I could do it that way, but as said before, it's a 
huge ammount of 'long s' in the text. Therefore I would like to have a good 
typesetting too.
