That won't happen by 1.5.0, I take it, but it'd be great to wheel it out not too long afterwards. It's a wonderful package, and support for it could well attract new users.
One issue is that the cite commands in biblatex aren't as fixed as they are with natbib, jurabib, and the like, so the citation dialog would need to be more flexible than it presently is.
