Harald The release that will come out hopefully today fixes you initial problem.Besides this, let me ask you if the installer runs fine on Vista and can you work with LyX on Vista as with LyX on XP?
If yes, please let me know. (I was only able to test it out once on Vista releace candidate and it worked there.)
