Actually, LyX does not look for acronym.sty, so you should not expect to find it listed in packages.lst. If you do as Paul suggests, ie. running the command "kpsewhich acronym.sty" in a cygwin shell, does it output the path to acronym.sty? If not, run "texhash" and then try again. It would be best if you could post a minimal .lyx file showing the problem. -- Enrico
