Document clases in Lyx 1.4.3

I have just installed Lyx 1.4.3 *.rpm under Mandriva 2007 from the lyx ftp 
site, the problem is that it didn't install any document clases with it, and 
the documentation doesn't include where to find them (CTAN directory).

Help welcomed.
