Peter,

Typographers tell us that block quotations should not be placed in quotation marks. Nor should they be put in a different typeface. Generally a block quotation is indented and the font size may be the same or smaller than the body text. See, for example, Robert Bringhurst's The Elements of Typographic Style.

Hi,

I'm new to LyX, and am using 1.37 on Windows.

I'd like to know if it's possible to style the Quote and Quotation styles further? In other words, to get a different font and automated quotation marks around the blocks? Currently my Quotes look like indented blocks of my text.

Also, what's the difference between the Quote and Quotation styles - quotation is for larger blocks?

Thanks,
Peter
